“The world can be shaped by your own actions.”
The foundation of my global mindset was formed during my student years, when I embarked on a solo journey across the United States.
On long-distance trains, I learned slang from people my own age.
From an Irish street performer, I learned juggling.
From a traveler from New Zealand, I learned how to play the guitar.
Through countless once-in-a-lifetime encounters, I discovered the vastness of the world—and the richness that comes from diverse values coexisting.
There were moments of hardship: wandering in the freezing winter of Canada with no place to stay, or feeling tense as I crossed land borders between countries.
It was a series of reckless, even unreasonable experiences. Yet, by communicating through gestures and determination, and by overcoming one difficult situation after another, a strong belief began to take shape.
“Whether in travel or in life, if you’re truly committed, things have a way of working out.”
This unfounded confidence and deep curiosity about the unknown became the starting point of my global mindset.

Why Malaysia?
After gaining experience in overseas business and participating in startup ventures, I eventually founded my own company.
At the core of my motivation was a single, unwavering desire:
to pass on the overseas experiences that helped me grow to the next generation.
That journey led me to Malaysia.
At the time, Malaysia was rarely discussed as a study abroad destination. I visited the country myself, studied there, and became convinced.
An education standard comparable to Western countries, an English-speaking environment in everyday life, and a society where multiple ethnicities coexist.
I couldn’t help but wonder—why was a place so ideal for cultivating a global mindset still so unknown?
“If no one else is doing it, then I have to.”
With that sense of purpose, I launched our business as a specialized institution for studying abroad in Malaysia.

Study Abroad as a Turning Point That Transforms Lives
We are not simply a company that arranges school admissions.
We believe that studying abroad is one of the most significant life events—a powerful opportunity for growth where individuals develop the resilience and survival skills needed to carve out their own paths.
With this belief, we have expanded our efforts into career education, working with more than 290 high schools across Japan, presenting study abroad as a meaningful career option.
For us, the essential question is not where students go, but how they live and grow through the experience.
Today, we hold the No.1 domestic share in supporting enrollment at Malaysian universities, assisting one out of every two students, and have been recognized as a top agent by many partner universities.
However, our true objective has never been market share.
It is the success of our students after graduation.
Beyond acquiring English skills, students are immersed in a multicultural society, challenged by unfamiliar environments, and shaped by diverse values.
The global mindset and resilience gained through these experiences become powerful tools for navigating an uncertain world.
The many graduates who now thrive in global companies and international careers stand as living proof of our philosophy.
We remain committed to being the best possible partner—walking alongside each individual as they take ownership of their lives and dramatically expand their possibilities through study abroad.
The Future We Envision
In today’s rapidly globalizing and ever-changing world, there are few clear answers.
What is required is the ability to face uncertainty head-on, to place oneself in unfamiliar environments, and to overcome challenges through one’s own strength.
By nurturing this survival mindset—and by cultivating a global mindset—we aim to empower individuals who can live authentically anywhere in the world.
This is the mission of Global Hub Japan.
